Taking Care of Yourself

Dear reader,

Welcome to today's post, we are into the lifestyle section today where I will talk about everything and anything that comes to mind. Basically, I will pour my heart and soul out if I feel like that day or talk about something that I think it is fun and useful. Today I wanted to talk about taking care of self. How I got the idea was the fact that I had the busiest start of the week giving that I came back to everything at the same time. 
What I am talking about is social media. I've taken a break from social media, YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Tumbler.... and basically everything you can think of. I did it because I felt overwhelmed and I was not happy. So starting this week October 1st I came back and I started working on my content and I feel amazing.

Even though I feel amazing and I enjoy doing this I was a bit tired today and I just wanted to talk about taking care of yourself, your body and your mind. So here are some of the things I did to relax this beautiful evening.

1. Read a book - After a busy day, you just want to sit down and relax. Reading a book and drinking your favorite drink wheater it is coffee, tea, wine, water... is one of the main things I like to do. Turn off your brain and just relax. Maybe even learn something new, if you decide to read a non-fiction book, also explore a new world in a fantasy book. 

2. Have a bubble bath - I am not the person who will make a bubble bath for herself, I've never done it in the past. This past year I've gotten into a habit of doing just that. Filling the tub and pouring relaxing bath salts or bubble bats will relax your body as well as your mind. You can drift off and just switch off your brain.

3. Pamper yourself - I am that one person who hates skincare. Yes, I said it. No, I am not crazy. (My mother had me tested! - Sheldon Cooper). Jokes aside I think that it is really important to take care of skin, cleanse and moisturize properly. The best time to do it is when you are trying to relax, you are not in a hurry and you have nowhere else to be. So use that time to put on a face mask, to use a serum under your moisturizer, to use eye cream...

4. Play a game - We are all different. I am a gamer and I will always be a gamer. Yes, I am creating daily content that revolves around video games, but you know that one game you wanted to play but you've never had a chance because you have an established game on your channel or you have a game that you were supposed to stream that day. Well, this is a time to play that game and just enjoy your free time. Also, this was a bit specific but even if you don't create content about video games you can sit down and play a game on your phone that you've seen somewhere and you haven't had a chance to try out. Do what makes you happy.

5. Watch a movie or TV show - Maybe you already realized that this list is made for those who love to sit and relax so the last item is watching a movie or a TV show. I've been really bad at that this year and I haven't watched a lot of TV shows, which some will say it's good, but it's not good for me. I can't wait for the weekend to sit down and watch the first two episodes of The Big Bang Theory. If you are like me find a show that you like, sit down and binge watch I one night. You will feel relaxed and you will be ready for tomorrows day of work, at least I know I will.

Alright, you guys these are my top five ways of relaxing after a stressful day or a stressful week. What do you like to do in your free time and how do you like to relax.
