What I Learned About Twitch || My Experience

Dear reader,
How are you today? Welcome to one of the first posts that will cover one of my favorite aspects of my life and that is GAMING. I've started playing video games when I was 6 and ever since then games and gaming was a huge part of my life. But today I will not talk about games or gaming general. Today I would like to talk about TWITCH and what Twitch has to offer these days and what do I think about it.

So, if you are a gamer you probably already have an account on Twitch or you at least heard about it. It is a streaming website where you can play a game for the audience and chat with your viewers in real time. Sounds cool, right? Well, it is cool but it has its good sides and its bad sides. I will not cover those in detail but I would like to express my opinion and my first impression on the site itself.

There are two sides of Twitch, the viewer side, and the streamer side. Personally, I've been on both sides and I had some amazing experiences and some not so great moments. Most of my bad moments came from the streamer side. I love streaming and it is making me happy but sometimes you came across some hurtful people who will do anything to make you feel bad about what you are doing and who you are in general. Most of the time those people will be under the age of 18 and the reason behind their comments will be boredom so you shouldn't take that seriously but I didn't know that at the time and after a couple of bad days of streaming I decide to give up simply because of the comments and today I regret that decision. I love to play a video game, I love to chat with like-minded people and I love making friends from all over the world. I am not saying that I came to the major breakthrough but I feel like I grew up and got a little tougher so I can at least read those comments without feeling hurt or bad about myself. The person who inspired me and thought me how to do this is ThatBronzeGirl, a female streamer from Seattle. She is the strongest and the most innovative person I came across on Twitch and I would like to be more like her. I am not talking about her channel or her gaming style. No, I am talking about the way she deals with bullies and haters. She gives the person a chance to explain the comment and apologize, otherwise the person is banned and that is what everyone should do.

Now that I rambled a lot about the streamer side let me talk about the viewer side. I actually don't have a lot to tell you about, my experience was always amazing and I hang in a couple of channels daily, watching people play a game and just have fun with other viewers. It is what makes me happy and it is actually what I watch instead of TV. I do own a TV but I don't watch a regular programme or anything like that. Twitch and YouTube took over my lounge life and I adore it.

Wow, this was a rambling post about Twitch. I just wanted to say what I had on my mind for a while and just talk about my experience. I am sure that there are so many people out there who had the experience as I am and if you are one of them let me know in the comments. I would like to hear your story. That will be everything for today and I hope I will see you soon.

Thank you for reading!
